Mindful movement, restorative yoga, breath work, and meditation prime our body and mind to receive inspiration and engage in creative expression. A yogic practice that awakens the parasympathetic nervous system allows us to steady thoughts, observe deeper layers of consciousness, and uncover a unique voice.
The workshop will consist of a slow-flow asana practice to nourish and open the body, restorative and pranayama to calm the nervous system and thought waves, and creative writing activities. We’ll read exemplary texts, play language games, and explore writing prompts to spark your imagination. In the later part of the workshop, there will be an option to share your work and time for discussion.
